Today I am sharing a couple of cards made with the

latest release from Technique Junkies 

This first card I used the new 'wild poppies' stamp 

sponged distress inks in behind the embossed flowers

spritz some water on, coloured in the flowers and leaves a bit

The saying is an older one 'getting old' with the inside saying to match  

The next card I am sharing today is  the 'wildflower corner' stamp

using my pens I inked up the stamp - spritzed with water then stamped.  Love the results !!!

The saying is from the new set 'cancer sucks'

Sisters birthday

Just a quick post today to share the card I made my

little sister for her birthday.

had this crazy bird fussy cut out and popped

its head out the hole lol...

 

Sons BD card

Okay- he is a Nirvana fan so I did a play

on the Happy Face Album 

Gold and Navy  -  all images are embossed.

Kept it very simple for the most part.

Did this card all in black in whites with a bit of sparkle

The saying is an older stamp from the 

'difficult times' set

next is another cancer card

The simplicity of this says it all.

Then last one I am sharing today

with 'wild poppies' 

Resist emboss with my watercolour powders

this saying is one from an 'inside out' set

young at heart

 Here we are with a new release from Technique Junkies !

So today I am sharing a couple of cards made

with the new 'silhouette stems' and 'enjoy' stamps

Love using this watercolour effect on the silhouette stamp.

just rubbed my markers on the image - spritz lightly with some water

then stamp.  Makes a great effect - and add the saying for a nice simple yet quick card.

next up

Using some washi tape and embossing folder

adding the new 'another year' stamp set

Layered the washi tape onto cardstock then ran it all through

the embosser.  Layer on the saying - but don't forget whats on the inside  hahahaha

And lastly today is one of the 'cancer sucks'

card I made.  Did you know there are at least 43 different 

cancer ribbons out there !  

                         The fight is real !!!

with the 'underneath the moon' stamp

Next fav is this Christmas card made with the

'zen background' stamp

embossed in white on the navy paper - cut out and layered onto sparkly background paper

Third one I am sharing is this quick travel card

The saying is from the 'adventure awaits set' 

Just some map paper roll back some as a scroll

Last of all I would like to share a spring one

I embossed navy background - the jar cut out is in vellum which I embossed with the 'all about spring' background stamp

Also fussy cut out the flowers that were embossed with white onto navy cardstock

Bee card

 My daughter requested a Bee card to use

as a sympathy card for a friend who passed.

She didn't want any saying on it, just blank

so this is what I came up with

 Oh I have some great makes to show you today

with March release of stamps from

first I will share one using perfect pearls ( haven't used them in ages but worked here.)

on the Flower and wings silhouette stamp

So after she was dusted I added the saying from an older stamp.

some string and beads for texture !

This is one of my favs today !

Next using the same stamp

I embossed several colours at once.

sponged the moon behind then stamped the

do something creative on some white ribbon

Last one today I used the 

old world script

along with a couple of older stamps

roughed up the edges to look old and worn -

some threads added  - and done

This FAB paper was so much fun to work with !!!!

The card on the right we used the 'cracked glass' technique.

How fitting !!!

This is what I came up with this year.

This guy from KatzelKraft !  balloon trailing behind.

Think it looks like he is coming out of a wormhole LOL.

light sponging around the edges - bit of twine 

with a simple note

Pet Sympathy

 My Sister and her Husband had to say goodbye

to their Dog Leevi

I made this card to send to them

With this great dog saying 

on top of the stenciled angel dog

added a few confetti hearts for all the love they had

for Leevi

 Hi Ya!!!

Today I am sharing a mixed media card I have made (and taught)

recently

One of my fav techniques

Lots of stenciling and inking and stamping oh my !!!

Layers and threads and empherma too.

Always be prepared for some inky fingers too lol

I layered it onto some black cardstock and roughed up the edges

then to finish it off I used brads in the four corners

to hold it onto the card

It can get warped with all the glue etc.

so I usually bend it back or place under something

heavy for awhile

Sponged that sunset with the moon behind

And like this endless line of giraffes -our memories go on forever
